Rob Nel

FOUNDER & COLLEAGUE

Rob developed his recruitment expertise and grew his career both in billings and building and managing teams over the last 10 years. He has expertise in the commerce and industry space within South Africa, focusing on mid to senior placements mostly in Finance, IT, Sales, Marketing and HR.

He’s enjoyed following his passion of working in a team environment where you can build long term relationships with people and is determined to deliver high quality service to his clients and career advice and unbiased support to his candidates.

Working for 4C Recruitment enables Rob to aim for what recruitment should be about and as a consequence of delivering that, his clients, his candidates and his colleagues all help in working toward the greater purpose of the business which is giving back to the community.

Mike Fraser

FOUNDER, TRustee & COLLEAGUE

After working for a couple South African financial institutions, Michael spent the next nine years in the UK working in finance and pricing within the Asset Management and Investment banking Sectors in London working for organisations like ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital.

Mike and his family returned to South Africa and started his own Landscaping and Garden Design company that he ran for a few years before returning to the corporate world.

Looking for a role that was away from daily PnL’s and finance, and more relationship driven Michael started his new career in Recruitment working for one international and one local recruitment firm where in both cases he witnessed significant growth of the organisations with the finance recruitment space. Michael is passionate about building long term and significant relationships and doing the right thing for his clients and candidates rather than chasing the fee.

Monja van der Westhuizen

Consultant and researcher

I am always seeking for fulfilment. Fulfilment in every aspect and area of my live. Being passionate about people and connecting people to find their fulfilment is a great source of joy to me. I had the opportunity to live abroad for 3 years and it gave me the chance to meet and connect with different types of people. My work experience has allowed me to grow long term relationships and deliver an unforgettable service which will benefit both client and candidate. Being part of 4C Recruitment has given me the opportunity to help others find better opportunities in which their abilities are shown at best , connecting people and giving them the opportunity to find their joy.

Paula Vorster

Senior Research consultant

Paula has over 25 years in HR across various functions with at least 15 of those in recruitment running major projects for large businesses.

She has managed large graduate recruitment programmes as well as doing in depth research to source top candidates across different industries.

She is married and has three wonderful children and enjoys spending time with family and friends

James Carty

After spending twenty years of my life in the bush and creating long lasting and meaningful connections and relationships I made the move into recruiting. These relationships have afforded me great friendships as well as a large network of connections with a broad spectrum of people.

I found recruiting is a way of combining my passion for connecting with people, and providing them with support and direction in the fulfilment of their careers, as a great new way to pursue these passions.

I strive to add value of the highest quality to my work environment and more importantly our candidates and our clients. Finding the right candidate for a role offers me the satisfaction that I enjoy.

I enjoy the outdoors, camping and fishing with my son have become a favourite weekend activity, as well as spending time on the golf course trying, mostly in vain, to perfect a game that both challenges and frustrates me but is ultimately rewarding over time.
