Mike Fraser
FOUNDER & COLLEAGUE
Following tenures at diverse South African financial institutions, Michael dedicated nine years to finance and pricing in London's Asset Management and Investment Banking sectors, contributing his expertise to renowned institutions including ABN Amro, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays Capital.
Upon returning to South Africa with his family, he operated his own Landscaping and Garden Design company before transitioning back into the corporate world.
Looking for a role that involved less P&L’s and finance, and focused more on building relationships, Michael began his journey in Recruitment. In his subsequent roles at international and local firms, he recognised the significant growth in both organisations within the financial recruitment space. This ultimately led to Michael and his partner establishing 4C Recruitment, in 2019.
Driven by his passion for cultivating meaningful, long-term relationships – Mike strives to always put his clients and candidates first, over and above “chasing the fee”.
Rob Nel
CONSULTANT
Robert Nel is an experienced recruitment professional with over 17 years of international recruitment experience, partnering with businesses across South Africa, the UK, and Eastern & Southern Africa to secure high-calibre talent.
Throughout his career, Robert has successfully placed more than 500 professionals across finance, commercial, technical, and operational roles, supporting organisations ranging from high-growth businesses to multinational corporates. He has worked closely with senior stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, directors, and business leaders, helping them identify and attract individuals who make a meaningful contribution to their organisations.
Robert is known for his quality-first approach to recruitment. Rather than focusing on volume, he invests time in understanding a client’s strategy, culture, and long-term goals to ensure the candidates introduced are not only technically capable but also aligned with the organisation’s broader vision. This approach enables clients to make confident hiring decisions and build teams that support sustainable growth.
His experience spans multiple industries and international markets, giving him a strong understanding of the talent dynamics shaping businesses across the region.
