How important is Company culture to you?

South Africa is home to a wide array of vibrant, rich cultures, each with their own deep history, and there is no question that South African culture is one of a kind and strongly felt by all of us in the Rainbow Nation. Our very colourful and unique culture got us thinking about Company culture and how crucial this is when deciding whether to join a new Company. When considering a move, job seekers are increasingly thinking about a ‘culture fit’ with a potential employer- and too right! Loosely, the culture of a Company can be summed up as its personality- encompassing the values and behaviours that make up the unique environment of the business. Back in the day, people weren’t too fussed by culture, but in today’s increasingly competitive work environment, an organization’s culture can (and should!) make or break your decision to join the Company.
